Acer to push the desktop Linux market "because of Microsoft"

This is the stuff that I love. Well done Acer. Let's hope they follow through on this promise! According to this, Linux only takes 15 seconds to boot on hardware that takes minutes for Windows. Also, it will be cheaper for the consumer, because they won't have to pay the "Microsoft tax". Let's hope the savings get passed to the consumer! Dell has been offering Linux laptops at a higher! price, let's see whether Acer can do better.
